CHICAGO – The Chicago Cubs today activated right-handed pitcher Carlos Silva from the 15-day disabled list and added five players to the major league roster from Triple-A Iowa. The Cubs recalled right-handed pitchers Justin Berg and Jeff Samardzija and outfielder Sam Fuld
