Vitters, Jackson to play in AFL

Josh Vitters and Brett Jackson, the Cubs' first-round picks in the 2007 and '09 First-Year Player Drafts, respectively, will play in the Arizona Fall League, which begins Oct. 12.

CHICAGO, IL (August 31, 2010) – The Chicago Fire Soccer Club and Chicago Cubs announced today that Fire designated player and midfielder Freddie Ljungberg will throw out a ceremonial first pitch at the Chicago Cubs baseball game at Wrigley Field tonight, Tuesday, Aug. 31 at 7:05 PM CT.
